Over 30 years ago, after a career in architectural graphics, Blue founder Suzanne Temple ran a successful Blues and Jazz club. From there, a wonderfully unexpected journey led to the creation of Blue — an eclectic lifestyle destination and premium women's fashion store.
Blue began in Cheltenham with a simple belief: getting dressed should feel joyful.
As the business grew, a second store opened on Milsom Street in Bath before relocating in 2010 to The Loft.
In April 2026, our Cheltenham store closed, allowing us to bring the full Blue experience together under one roof in Bath — including our much-loved sale room, now available both in-store and online.
Over the years, Blue has become a destination for women who appreciate quality, individuality, and style that lasts beyond a single season.
Today, Blue sits in the heart of historic Bath within a beautifully restored Victorian department store, alongside the award-winning Café Lucca.
Nestled in the vibrant Bartlett Street Quarter, Bath's independent shopping district, Blue remains a much-loved destination for fashion, homewares, and café culture.
We curate our edit carefully, choosing brands that share our values of craftsmanship, creativity, and wearability.

In 2026, we launched the Blue Studio — a dedicated professional space created to enhance your online shopping experience.
The studio allows us to focus on quality photography, thoughtful presentation and exceptional customer service, ensuring the same attention to detail online as you'll find in-store.
Today, Blue ships worldwide, and our team is always happy to help with styling advice, sizing guidance or any questions you may have.
